All Tattered Moon dolls are one-of-a-kind originals created by hand from new,
found and recycled objects. Most of the faces are hand drawn with permanent ink
but some may be created out of recycled objects, making each doll’s expression
unique from one another. I use both machine and hand stitching in my creations. I do
not use glue. Clothing and costumes are a mixture of various materials constructed by
machine and hand stitching. Many people have described them as little spirits with a
primitive /old-world charm or a modern bohemian edge.
